Access & Program Information

The Traveler Statewide Resources are a collection of digital resources provided by the Arkansas State Library to all Arkansas residents, schools, libraries and universities.

The Arkansas State Library established the Traveler program in 1997. For over twenty-five years, Traveler has formed a cornerstone of the library’s mission to meet the educational, informational and cultural needs of the citizens of Arkansas.

The Traveler collection is carefully selected to ensure resources spanning a wide range of subjects and disciplines are available to students at every age and level, from early education through post graduate studies.

The Traveler collection is a valuable resource for educators, parents, caregivers, students, or anyone with a love of learning.

Online Access to Traveler Resources

Arkansas residents can access the collection from the Arkansas State Library’s website with no registration or additional logins required. You must be located within the state of Arkansas with your device’s location services turned on.

Arkansas residents living near or on the border may report any access problems to [email protected].

Traveler resources are available exclusively to Arkansas residents and libraries within state boundaries. If ineligible for Traveler, contact your local public library to learn about similar services and resources that are available in your state.

Onsite Institutional Access

Arkansas schools, universities and libraries may register with the Arkansas State Library to offer Traveler resources through their own institutional websites.

To ensure uninterrupted access, current IP addresses must be registered with the State Library. Any changes to registered IP addresses can be reported via the online form. Contact Katie Walton at [email protected] for assistance.
