Join Rebekah as she shares a deeply personal account of her experience as a first-time candidate and librarian running for statewide public office. Grounded in a framework of “lessons learned” from the campaign trail, attendees will hear a practical and inspirational message on battling imposter syndrome, fundraising, messaging, boundaries, and finding new ways to define success. Rebekah Cummings – Biography
Rebekah Cummings is the Director of Digital Matters at the University of Utah Marriott Library and Co-Founder of the organization Let Utah Read. Since 2017, Rebekah has championed library issues and funding as the Utah Library Association President, Co-Chair of the ULA Advocacy Committee, and Chair of the Utah State Library Board. She lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband, three kids, and Australian Shepherd named Stan.
