This workshop will provide participants with an overview of best-practices for public financial management. The workshop will focus on the nuts and bolts of the financial management process including understanding revenue and expenses, key budgetary players at the local level, procurement regulations in the state of Arkansas, and record keeping.
This is an in-person workshop. Registration is required.

Lunch Information
Forty-five minutes will be allotted for lunch, and participants are encouraged to remain on site during this break. During registration, participants can choose between a pre-paid lunch catered by Newk’s, or to bring their own lunch.
Pre-paid lunch is $20, and must be paid by August 14.
If you opt for the catered lunch, please register early enough to receive an invoice and remit payment to the State Library by August 14.
