Dan Wilson – Biography

Dan Wilson is the deputy director at the UVA Claude Moore Health Sciences Library with extensive experience in disaster planning. He coordinated the National Network of the Library of Medicine Disaster Planning Initiative, working with libraries nationwide on strategies to maintain library services during emergencies.

Dan contributed to the book, Library as Safe Haven: Disaster Planning, Response, and Recovery; a How-To-Do-It Manual for Librarians, and was interviewed on the American Libraries podcast, Call Number, Episode 95. (interview begins at the 14-minute mark)
